Original designs created to flatter women of specific shapes and sizes i.e. the traditional English pear shape which is challenged by the increasing number of apple shaped women, most women essentially fall into one of these two categories. Style notes – despite our constant quest for perfection, most women’s bodies fall into the 'A' or 'P' category. A – Apple shape - often high waisted with the height in the leg. This shape comes with a fuller bust, thicker waist and relatively slim hips and legs. Excess weight will gather in the middle. P – Pear shape – often longer in the back with a neat bust and waist with fuller hip and thighs. Excess weight will be carried on the hips and thighs. Some of our styles are good for both shapes i.e. the layered look.
Look out for the 'A' and 'P' symbols for those that are particularly good for your shape.
